First, you have to reach the middle of nowhere. Then, you take a thoroughly messed up “road” on foot or by car. Finally, you have to scramble down a hill, and about 1/4 mile over rocks next to a river. At least you reach Abiqua. Yeah, it’s worth it. This was by far my favorite waterfall I’ve ever experienced – go if you can do so carefully! The best waterfall experience was followed up with a pretty strange one: a group of people decided to take up target practice with rifles next to our car.
